The following is the advice given by the seniors to the underclassmen.

Will Bartels "Listen to coach Sego, because if you don't he will make you look like and idiot.  Be proud of what TEAM  you are on especially JV, because JV is the best.  And never ask Sego about the pineapple story because he denies it ever happened."
Adam Bausch "Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do it. Never, never, never give up!  And keep on kicking"
Kirk Bennett "You can be on the swim team for four years without having Coach O comment on one of your races, but when he finally des it is worth it"
Brian Buesing "Stop packing the aisles an counting the miles. Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more cry less,. Life must be lived as we go along.  The station will come soon enough.."
Garav Garg "Always wear a helmet when riding a bike."
Frank Chandler Harris "1. Mark Onstott is your Messiah from Thanksgiving until Valentines day
2. 5:50 AM is not early, it's a privledge
3. Your diet will consist of Endurox and Chipotle
4. Hoo Yah!
5. Superman wears Chris Wang themed pajamas
6. Stephen is the sexiest, sorry
7. The 4th quarter belongs to Charlie Gentles
8. Coach O can see you in lane 1
9. Nose plugs are the new pink
10. In the deepest, darkest parts of the season, find the "missing motivation link", find something everyday to make you a better swimmer, a better leader and a better person.  I will love and miss you all."
Stephen Hong "Do not ask Sego about the pineapple story he will just deny it ever happened.  Always respect swimmers, divers and coaches, that is all you have to do."
Kevin McCrary "Don't sacrifice the gift and don't ask Sego about the pineapple story  He'll just get mad and not tell you."
Trent Meltzer "Don't ask Sego about the pineapple story because he will get really mad.  He is going to pretend it's not real."
Joey Miller "Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow."
John Scherer "Use every practice and every race to prove to yourself what you can do, instead of using them as an opportunity to complain.  Be as confidant in yourself as your coaches are in you, and be sure to finish your career at NT knowing  you couldn't have done better."
Jake Siembida "Listen to the coaches about stretching, your safety and health are the most important things. Prevent injury in any way you can.  Your skill and speed mean nothing if you can't swim.  Stay healthy, one injury can lose you an entire season.  It's not worth it and it's not fun"
Shane Tucker "In order to become an accomplished diver, one must jump higher than a Lexington Street Fish Fry, avoid crimps and caty wampus pikes, but most importantly: strive for the dive that makes Noyes and Farmer jump form their seats and the one dive that makes Joe sing " April in Paris" and Bruce give that rare 7"
Nick Weaver Don't get injured your senior year, get hurt earlier it will make swimming a whole lot easier and don't ask Sego about the pineapple story he will just get red in the face."
Captain Charlie Gentles "Be a TEAM, have fun and listen to Coach S he means business.
Captain Danny Harper "Dive everyday, point your toes and don't hit any swimmers, the coaches don't like it!"
Captain Jimmy Munson "The groin is a magnificent part of the body.  A nexus of power and wonder.  Without it, you are nothing.   Cherish it and keep it safe above all else."
Captain James Noyes " Remember if you can see Chuck Norris he can see you, if you can't see him you may be only seconds away form death,  And Stein this is for you: If you are walking along the southeast hallway of the first floor at NT watch yourself because Big Bolling is watching."
Captain Louis Schiff "Avoid tight spaces, one hand grenade will get you all."
