Trevian Youth Lacrosse Club

The Trevian Youth Lacrosse Club
was founded in 2005 by Kristen Murray, assistant varsity coach at
New Trier. She is assisted by Pete Collins, the head varsity coach at
New Trier and Liz Drury, former Harvard standout.
Learn. Play. Compete. This is the philosophy
of the Trevian Youth Lacrosse Club. The focus is on learning the fundamentals,
improving stickwork and skills, and teaching the game of lacrosse,
all by experienced coaches. The club is open for beginner and experienced
girls 3rd - 8th grade.
Trevian Lacrosse Club has early spring indoor skills clinics, as well as a spring season and one week summer camp. We play in the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association, a league started to develop youth programs in the Chicagoland area. We will play against other youth programs in Northbrook, Glenview, Evanston, Lake Forest, Highland Park, Kenilworth and Winnetka. Teams will be based on grade level and experience. We will have one practice and one game each week. You can go to www.iglax.org to find out more information about this youth lacrosse organization.
Protective eyewear (goggles) and mouth
guards are mandatory equipment for girls lacrosse. All players must
have a girls lacrosse stick also.
